Privacy-focused AI assistant Ollie is shutting down on November 6, as announced by co-founder and CEO Bill Lennon.
The service utilized email and calendar integrations to manage family scheduling and payments while maintaining SOC 2 compliance.
The company's co-founder and CEO, Bill Lennon, announced the news via X on Friday. He thanked users, investors and those who supported the effort.
The digital assistant market has seen significant growth over the past year. In September, Ollie raised $7,5 million in funding in a round led by Khosla Ventures.
The app operated on a subscription model and helped families stay organized and connected. To do this, it connected to users’ email and calendars, and had features for scheduling appointments, planning meals, and paying bills. The company’s future plans included family budget management.
