Testing with connection hiding programs
In tests conducted by editor Brian Westover on October 10, 2026, five well-known Starlink obfuscation services were tested. These services were ExpressVPN, Hide.me, NordVPN, Proton, and Surfshark.
The tests were conducted on a Windows 11 PC using the nearest available node in the Salt Lake City, Utah area. The results showed that the speed was within normal limits, without excessive delays or unexpected drops in performance.
