The new Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses focus on sound and cost from $349

Meta's Ray-Ban Meta Audio introduces a camera-free smart glasses option focusing exclusively on audio processing, voice commands, and AI integration.

Powered by the Meta AI app with Bluetooth connectivity, the hardware delivers up to 12 hours of battery life, starting at $349 across Burbank and Clubmaster frame variants.

Frame options and design

The glasses come in two frame styles, Burbank and Clubmaster. Burbank comes in regular and large sizes, with multiple lens options. Clubmaster comes in pre-set combinations in one size. Control is via a button and touchpad on the right arm, while built-in microphones and speakers allow for calls and music playback.

Battery and autonomy

Removing the camera helps with battery life. The glasses last up to 12 hours on a single charge, while the charging case provides an additional 48 hours of battery life.

Connection and features

The connection to the mobile phone is via Bluetooth and management is carried out through the Meta AI application and voice commands. Users can utilize communication, navigation, health applications and selected music services.

Without a camera, the model cannot take photos, videos, or perform visual recognition functions.
