I don't know why it took me so long to decide to use this. I always been using the i3status because it was just easy to configure.
I decided to switch over because I want to make it easier to control my music (mpd/ncmpcpp) and I would like to have it showing my taskbar what is playing.
i3status just didn't want to cooperate.
I will have to say that I cheated to get the config from somewhere else and then I had to still figure out the coding and change it to my liking.
