Mailgun's Locale Pages All 301-Redirect to Themselves. Twilio, SendGrid, and Postmark Have Zero Redirects.

Latest round of the site-crawl series: ran the free RankForge crawler against four email/messaging API platforms — twilio.com, sendgrid.com, mailgun.com, and postmarkapp.com — 10 pages each, starting from the homepage. Three of the four log zero internal redirects. The fourth, mailgun.com, has 9 — and every single one is a self-loop.

What I ran

No account needed, so this is reproducible:

• POST https://rankforge.cc/api/analyzer with {"seed_url": "..."}, then poll GET /api/analyzer/<id> until status is completed.
• The crawler follows internal links breadth-first from the seed, caps at 10 pages for the anonymous tier, audits every internal redirect to its final destination (hop count included), and classifies every outbound external link as followed or nofollowed.
• Raw JSON for all four runs: content/analyzer_20261003_<host>.json.

mailgun.com: 9 redirects, 9 self-loops, 40 links spent on nothing

Every tracked redirect on mailgun.com is a single-hop 301 back to the exact same URL it started from: /fr (6 inbound links), /de (6), /es (6), /pt (5), plus locale-specific contact pages like /fr/contact/support and /de/kontakt/support (4 each), /about (3), and /contact/schedule-a-demo (2). 40 affected links total, 0 multi-hop, 0 real destination changes — every locale and contact page just redirects to itself.

twilio.com, sendgrid.com: zero redirects, zero external links crawled

Both platforms' first 10 pages stayed entirely on-site with no outbound links captured in this crawl window and no internal redirects at all — a flat, redirect-clean structure within the pages reached.

postmarkapp.com: zero redirects, but the external link graph is wide

No internal redirects either, but postmarkapp.com's 10 pages carry 138 external links across 13 unique domains (0% nofollowed) — most concentrated on a single customer-story page linking out to activecampaign.com 80 times.
