Turning Ideas Into Code: 5 Full-Stack Apps Before 2026

Hey there! 👋
I’m Ilyas — a self-taught full-stack solo developer on a mission.

My personal goal for the rest of this year is simple but ambitious:
Build and launch 5 full-stack projects from scratch — all by myself.

Why am I doing this?
â€ĸTo sharpen my skills in real-world development
â€ĸTo create products that people can actually use
â€ĸTo challenge myself to stay consistent and ship regularly

đŸ’ģ Tech stack I’ll be using:
â€ĸFrontend: React (Next.js), TailwindCSS
â€ĸBackend: Node.js, Go, Java (depending on the project)
â€ĸDatabases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
â€ĸDevOps: Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployments

â¸ģ

What you can expect here

This space will be my public dev journal.
I’ll share:
â€ĸDetailed breakdowns of each project
â€ĸThe architecture, code snippets, and deployment process
â€ĸLessons learned (and mistakes made)
â€ĸInsights on going from idea → product → launch

â¸ģ

Why you might want to follow along

You can:
â€ĸCode along with me and build the same projects step-by-step
â€ĸLearn full-stack development in a practical way (no endless tutorials)
â€ĸSee exactly how a solo dev handles everything — from code to marketing

And who knowsâ€Ļ by the end of this journey, I might even share how these projects can be monetized so you can turn your code into actual income. đŸ’ĩ

â¸ģ

📅 Goal deadline: December 31st, 2025.
Let’s see how much we can build before then.

If this sounds interesting, hit follow, leave a comment, and maybe even join the challenge with me.

Let’s make something awesome. 🚀

🚀 This is the kind of challenge that turns a developer into a product powerhouse.
As a fellow full-stack dev working with Django, FastAPI, and React, I know how much growth comes from building AND shipping. Your tech stack is solid, and the solo grind? That’s where the real learning happens, not just in code, but in decision-making, storytelling, and resilience.
I often tell junior devs in my Bangla-speaking community: āĻĒā§āϰāĻ•āĻ˛ā§āĻĒ āĻŦāĻžāύāĻžāύ⧋ āĻļ⧇āĻ–āĻžāϰ āϏāĻŦāĻšā§‡ā§Ÿā§‡ āĻāĻžāϞ⧋ āωāĻĒāĻžā§Ÿ, āĻ•āĻžāϰāĻŖ āĻāĻ–āĻžāύ⧇ āϭ⧁āϞ āĻ•āϰāĻžāĻ“ āĻļ⧇āĻ–āĻžāϰ āĻ…āĻ‚āĻļāĨ¤ (Building projects is the best way to learn, because even mistakes teach you something.)

This sound like a great idea, am definitely going to follow along on your progress. Am not sure if as a beginner in programming i should code along with you? But am excited to see how you develop these applications and learn something i didn't know that i can use in my development journey.
