Hey there! đ
Iâm Ilyas â a self-taught full-stack solo developer on a mission.
My personal goal for the rest of this year is simple but ambitious:
Build and launch 5 full-stack projects from scratch â all by myself.
Why am I doing this?
âĸTo sharpen my skills in real-world development
âĸTo create products that people can actually use
âĸTo challenge myself to stay consistent and ship regularly
đģ Tech stack Iâll be using:
âĸFrontend: React (Next.js), TailwindCSS
âĸBackend: Node.js, Go, Java (depending on the project)
âĸDatabases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB
âĸDevOps: Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployments
â¸ģ
What you can expect here
This space will be my public dev journal.
Iâll share:
âĸDetailed breakdowns of each project
âĸThe architecture, code snippets, and deployment process
âĸLessons learned (and mistakes made)
âĸInsights on going from idea â product â launch
â¸ģ
Why you might want to follow along
You can:
âĸCode along with me and build the same projects step-by-step
âĸLearn full-stack development in a practical way (no endless tutorials)
âĸSee exactly how a solo dev handles everything â from code to marketing
And who knowsâĻ by the end of this journey, I might even share how these projects can be monetized so you can turn your code into actual income. đĩ

đ
Goal deadline: December 31st, 2025.
Letâs see how much we can build before then.
If this sounds interesting, hit follow, leave a comment, and maybe even join the challenge with me.
Letâs make something awesome. đ
â Ilyas

đ This is the kind of challenge that turns a developer into a product powerhouse.
As a fellow full-stack dev working with Django, FastAPI, and React, I know how much growth comes from building AND shipping. Your tech stack is solid, and the solo grind? Thatâs where the real learning happens, not just in code, but in decision-making, storytelling, and resilience.
I often tell junior devs in my Bangla-speaking community: āĻĒā§āϰāĻāϞā§āĻĒ āĻŦāĻžāύāĻžāύ⧠āĻļā§āĻāĻžāϰ āϏāĻŦāĻā§ā§ā§ āĻāĻžāϞ⧠āĻāĻĒāĻžā§, āĻāĻžāϰāĻŖ āĻāĻāĻžāύ⧠āĻā§āϞ āĻāϰāĻžāĻ āĻļā§āĻāĻžāϰ āĻ āĻāĻļāĨ¤ (Building projects is the best way to learn, because even mistakes teach you something.)
This sound like a great idea, am definitely going to follow along on your progress. Am not sure if as a beginner in programming i should code along with you? But am excited to see how you develop these applications and learn something i didn't know that i can use in my development journey.
Hi, I am interested how to join you?
