I Built a Free Invoice Tool Because Freelancers Deserve Simpler Paperwork

Freelancing sounds simple from the outside: find a client, do the work, get paid.
But anyone who has actually worked with clients knows there is a less exciting side of the job: paperwork.
Invoices, receipts, quotes, contracts, timesheets, expenses, late payments… These small tasks can quietly steal time from the real work. And for many freelancers or small teams, using a full accounting platform feels too heavy, too expensive, or simply unnecessary.
That is one of the reasons I started building InvoiceAndTools:
https://invoiceandtools.com
The idea is straightforward: create free, browser-based business tools that help freelancers and small businesses handle basic documents faster.
No signup.
No complicated dashboard.
No unnecessary steps.
Just open the tool, enter the details, and create what you need.
InvoiceAndTools currently includes tools such as an invoice generator, receipt generator, quote generator, proforma invoice generator, contract generator, timesheet generator, expense tracker, VAT calculator, profit margin calculator, and late payment calculator.
The goal is not to replace advanced accounting software. Big platforms are useful for companies that need full bookkeeping systems, payroll, tax reports, integrations, and team workflows.
But not everyone needs that.
Sometimes a freelancer just needs to create a clean invoice PDF for a client. Sometimes a consultant needs a quick quote. Sometimes a small business owner needs to calculate profit margin or track a simple expense. These should not require a subscription or a long setup process.
That is the gap InvoiceAndTools is trying to solve.
I also want the site to become more than a collection of tools. The long-term vision is to build a practical resource for freelancers: simple guides, templates, examples, and workflows that make business paperwork less confusing.
Because most freelancers do not start freelancing because they love admin work.
They start because they have a skill.
If a free tool can save them a few minutes, help them look more professional, or make client communication easier, then it is worth building.
You can try the free tools here:

No account required — just simple tools for getting the business side of freelance work done faster.
