AI is moving from generating code to handling complex engineering tasks. 🤖
I recently came across a demonstration of Google's Gemini 4 Argon, and it got me thinking about how quickly AI development is evolving.
A few things that caught my attention:
🔹 Long-output capabilities for complex tasks
🔹 AI-assisted software development and coding agents
🔹 The potential to automate parts of creative and technical workflows
But here's what I find most important: AI tools can accelerate development, but understanding the code is still essential.
As a BTech AIML student learning C++, DSA and AI, I believe the goal shouldn't be to compete with AI at generating code. It should be to understand problems, evaluate AI-generated solutions, and build things that actually work.
The future belongs to people who combine strong fundamentals with the ability to use new tools effectively.
What do you think matters more for aspiring developers today: strong programming fundamentals or the ability to work effectively with AI tools?
