As we flip the calendar, let’s take a moment to celebrate and reflect on the amazing (and sometimes wild) ride 2025 was.

Last year was packed with incredible advances across AI, web, cloud, gadgets, and developer tooling. From GPT-5 to the latest iPhones, innovation happened on every front.

In true Dev.to spirit, let’s look back at what shaped tech in 2025 and then explore what we can expect in 2026.
