Linux kernel 7.0 is expected to be a release in April 2026, with new features, and major improvements over the last kernel 6.0. New features and improvements include:
- Broad Hardware Enablement
- Better Performance and responsiveness
- Filesystem and subsystem improvements
With this, newer hardwares will get better support, and ofcourse, better performance. Since the stable release is expected to come in April 2026, I would like to ask about your thoughts on this new kernel.
