Too many configuration files in development nowadays

We use lots of tools in development nowadays, and there are too many configuration files in a single project. With irony, I made a list of configuration files.

.config is a list of configuration files with a brief description of each tool, so it might help you a little.

Pull-requests of addition and translation are welcome.

Indeed. The number of config files and build scripts nowadays is insane.
For this reason, I made presetter a tool for npm projects to reuse these files and scripts over projects without copy and paste every time!

In defense of the modern web

I expect I'll annoy everyone with this post: the anti-JavaScript crusaders, justly aghast at how much of the stuff we slather onto modern websites; the people arguing the web is a broken platform for interactive applications anyway and we should start over;

React users; the old guard with their artisanal JS and hand authored HTML; and Tom MacWright, someone I've admired from afar since I first became aware of his work on Mapbox many years ago. But I guess that's the price of having opinions.
