Hi everyone, I'm a Danish developer named Jacob.
I'm dropping by to share a project I recently came across while browsing GitHub.
The project is called FaceGuard, by developer drJhonatan00.
It is an extremely lightweight and easily modifiable project that runs seamlessly on any PHP server. The developer created a highly secure facial recognition login system where all processing happens on the client's machine; no images are uploaded to the server—only a set of scrambled coordinates that make it impossible to identify the user's face, even if someone views the file where the data is stored. It is incredibly fast and lightweight. Furthermore, the same developer—drJhonatan00—created an automatic backup project based on the same lightweight principles, which has received high praise from the Asian developer community. By combining these two tools, you end up with one of the very few websites featuring facial recognition login that also offers a 100% secure automatic backup system.
The developer already seems to have quite a reputation in China, Taiwan, and Japan for creating simple tools; I’ve tested them myself, and they are truly functional and secure—all under an MIT license.
