Stay healthy and drink chiya 🍡

One thing, that you see in offices in Nepal πŸ‡³πŸ‡΅ at least once a day, is that someone makes chiya (milk tea) and brings it around to every desk.
That is a really good customs, because chiya keeps your brain working [Citation needed].

Still at JankariTech we introduced the policy that it's not permitted to deliver the drink to the desk. The reason for that policy is: we are sitting too much, and that makes us sick. To get up and to get the chiya from the kitchen gives you a good reason to move, to stretch your muscles and to activate the cardio vascular system

Even though all staff of JankariTech are still in home-offices at the moment, that policy still applies! So don't let anyone deliver you the chiya to the desk, and if anyone still does:

  1. ⬆️ get up
  2. πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸ–₯ follow that person back to the kitchen
  3. πŸ€— give the person a hug or at least say something nice
  4. πŸ–₯πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ walk back to your desk
  5. 🍡 enjoy the chiya
  6. πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» keep on coding

STAY HEALTHY AND DRINK CHIYA

P.S. For those who are so unfortunate not to to live in Nepal and don't know how to make chiya here a recipe

I absolutely love this approach! Chiya truly is an energy booster, and the tradition of bringing it around makes office culture in Nepal so warm and inviting. 😊 I totally agreeβ€”taking the moment to get up and stretch not only helps with physical health but also gives a nice mental break.

The balance between productivity and health is so important, and it’s great to see JankariTech prioritizing that! Sometimes, a refreshing drink like LiHo tea menu can also give you that energy boost when you need it most, even if you're not in Nepal. I might try this out at my own officeβ€”getting up for a break while sipping on some delicious chiya sounds like the perfect combo.

Thanks for the recipe too! I’ll have to give it a try if I can't find my way to Nepal anytime soon. Stay healthy and drink chiya! 🍡
