PayNG — US payroll for Nigerian teams, done right.

The Problem

US startups hiring Nigerian engineers waste hours on broken payroll: wire transfers take 3-5 days, cost $15-50 per transaction, fail due to banking mismatches, and require manual tax/compliance handling. Existing tools like Wise and PayPal weren't built for recurring payroll, leaving founders scrambling to reconcile failed payments and frustrated remote teams waiting for payday.

What We're Building

PayNG bundles USD-to-NGN payroll into one tool: batch upload employee data (name, amount, bank details, contractor vs. employee status), one-click send with automatic tax withholding, real-time payment confirmation via Slack/email, and a full audit trail for compliance. We handle the banking, the math, and the headaches.

Who It's For

Founders and ops leads at US-based startups (Series A–C, tech-first) with 5-50 Nigerian engineers or contractors. Industries: SaaS, fintech, dev tools, design.

Key Features (Planned)

  • Batch CSV upload with auto tax withholding (Nigeria standard rates)
  • One-click USD→NGN conversion + send to any Nigerian bank account
  • Real-time Slack/email confirmation + full audit trail for compliance
  • Contractor vs. employee classification + year-end tax reporting

We're validating this concept. If this resonates with you, we'd love your feedback:

If you're paying Nigerian team members right now, what's the #1 thing that breaks every month—a failed transfer, tax confusion, reconciliation nightmare?

Check out the concept page and let us know what you think.
