Whether getting that "Senior" title, going into management, or going above Senior, how do you get recognized and promoted?

Take credit for the work of others. Number one tip!

Secondly - make sure you do loads of overtime (Sorry I am confusing myself if this is indeed a Wrong Answer now as this one is actually effective!)

Thirdly - make sure to write anti-Semitic tweets and articles, those are bound to make you popular with management, make sure to include the company handle in every tweet just to make sure.

Finally, and I cannot stress this enough, do not learn. Use the same library and process for every project. If someone points out a "mistake" in your work...laugh it off and change the company docs to prove your way is correct. if you don't know something it isn't worth knowing so make sure to never ask questions (you don't want to appear weak do you?) You will be the best senior dev in no time!

When they say, you've got one years experience 10 times, keep doing that. You're doing it right.

Look busy. It doesn't matter whether you actually do work as long as you look like you're doing work.

Schedule and run as many meetings as you can. Ideally at least a daily 1 hour meeting to talk about a topic that came up that day. Once a week, schedule a 4 hour meeting to talk about steps to take to improve the code base. Applying those steps is not necessary.

Speaking of meetings, attend as many as you can, even if they're not relevant to you.

Be loud and obnoxious at work when lecturing juniors so everyone can hear how awesome and knowledge you are.

Make sure you come into the office full time when your company allows it. It will be easier to show how busy you are. Eat lunch at your desk and don't take any other breaks to show how dedicated you are getting an hour of work done each 10 hour work day you show up.
