The beginnee binding examples are easy but discouraged for bigger apps and the components, which should be used for bigger apps, looked more complicated then with React.
I agree with this. For "simpler" apps Vue is better - but how often do we build "simple" JS-powered apps in 2017? Once you try and do anything complex in Vue and break your app down into Components, you really lose any advantage over React.
