I’m Kayla, and I work on the partnerships team at Codeworks. I wanted to share this here because I know a lot of people in this community are either self-taught, looking to level up, thinking about a career shift, and just need a little push to fulfill their goals! If this sounds like you, Codeworks might be a good fit.
It’s an immersive coding bootcamp, for either web design or aspiring software engineers, focused on real-world software engineering skills. Alumni have gone on to work at places like Google, Typeform, Amazon, and a bunch of startups too. If you're already coding a bit, you might be ready to apply and start the admissions process to join the program. But if you're starting from zero, there's also a free JavaScript class to help you build the basics.
This isn’t for everyone—it’s intense and fast-paced—but it works really well for people who are serious about making a change.
