"actions shall be judged according to intentions", these were the words of prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). We all have reasons for all we do and say. We all have a cause, a decision that stand as basis for our actions. The question you should ask yourself is why do you do the things you do, it is to impress people?, or to impress yourself?. Don't just formulate reasons out of the blue, think them out, nurture them and see them help you do better than you expected. "if you must act, act with a utilitarian reason, not a selfish one, for you live not only for yourself, but for those around you too".
