Hello There!
This "blog page", or whatever it's called, will serve as my start to public learning
But what is Public Learning?
According the the ~2 articles I've read on the topic (I know, I'm practically a genius now), it consists of:
- Making your work publicly accessible
- Welcoming feedback and criticism
- Participating in anything and everything
(Topics taken from Sudheer's article)
I'll probably end up using this to talk about the way I do things, the way I think, ect., and less on the topic of what I'm learning. However, I think either topic will suit me fine.
See you around!
And of course, my GitHub is on my profile. Check it out!

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be starting my journey into public learning and wanted to introduce myself.
My background is in education through IB private schools, which provided a rigorous and globally-focused curriculum. The IB framework really helped me develop critical thinking, research skills, and a habit of inquiry-based learning. What I appreciated most was the emphasis on real-world applications and the encouragement to be an independent learner.
Now, I’m looking forward to applying those skills in a more open and collaborative environment like this public learning platform. Transitioning from a structured setting in IB private schools to a more community-driven learning space feels like a natural next step for me. I believe that learning doesn’t have to stop at the classroom door—it can and should be shared, questioned, and constantly evolving.
