  • Zoom to 400% and try to complete a task

4. Include Disabled Users in Testing

Invite people who use assistive technology daily to test your product. Pay them - their expertise is valuable.

"We don't have disabled users"

You don't know you have disabled users. If your analytics show none, it's likely they left because they couldn't use your product.

"We'll add accessibility later"

Retrofitting accessibility is 10x more expensive than building it in.
