Hey dev.to 👋
This is my first post here.
For a long time, I was stuck in tutorial mode.
JavaScript. React. Backend. “One more course, then I’ll build.”
That moment never came.
The Problem
I wasn’t lacking resources.
I was afraid to build something imperfect.
The Shift
One day, I made a simple rule:
Build first. Learn while fixing mistakes.
No perfect code.
No perfect UI.
Just something that works.
What I’m Doing Now
I’m building a small tools-based web app called Utilo.
Nothing flashy — just solving real problems and improving step by step.
And I’ve learned more from this than months of tutorials.
Lessons So Far
Shipping bad code > shipping nothing
Users care if it works, not how clean your stack is
You only learn deployment after it breaks
Motivation follows action
Why I’m Here
I’m not an expert.
I’m learning in public, sharing mistakes, and building anyway.
If you’re stuck in tutorial hell — you’re not alone.
Let’s keep building 🚀
