I got some big news. I have officially created an LLC with the state of California. As of today, I am a small business owner. The name of the company is just Lawrence Mueller Software, but still exciting. I am going to set up a business bank account tomorrow in order to separate my personal and business finances. Then I need to pay an attorney to create simple terms of service and privacy policy for me. If I am going to do it, I might as well do it right.
I am closing in on the finish line for this job board website. Right now I am getting stumped by sending files uploaded to the front end to the back end. Next does not want to cooperate in this area. I have been looking for a good tutorial on how to get the job done, but alas I have found nothing useful.
After I get this functionality done, all I have left is to integrate Stripe, then publish the site. I will probably throw in a polish phase where I refactor some code and try to get my lighthouse scores up. Right now most of my lighthouse scores are 100 out of 100. Performance is the odd duck out. It is not even close. I really need to figure out how to not "chain critical requests". That will be a problem for later though, as for now getting the last two bits of functionality nailed out is my goal.
