Uclid: Maths Game Built With React

Hello Dev Community,

I'm Ayomide Atayero also known as Lens and this is my first appearance on the Dev Community. In introduction of myself, I'll like to flaunt a project I have been working on for the past few weeks.

I am a software engineer specialized in frontend development and severless backend using React and Firebase respectively. I am also experienced in the use of tailwindCSS and I write React in both JavaScript and TypeScript.

In putting my skills into practice, I built a medium scale app to test my consistency in clean code and how well I can maintain a more complex codebase. Uclid is a web app that helps users get better at simple arithemetics. It asks simple maths questions from users and helps them see how many they can answer within the span of one minute.

As part of challenging my programming skill, I added a multiplayer feature which allows friends come together to see which of them can score the most in a game. The multiplayer feature is characterized with realtime updates, ranking and the same questions across all connected players.

I experienced a lot of challenges in building this project which has really shaped my programming and problem-solving skills. I am also looking forward to add more features such as difficulty mode, avatars, fully-fledged user profile, world game, leaderboard and much more.
