A Free, Flexible Way to Customize Your GitHub Pages Blog

I’m not a full-time developer yet—just a student steadily learning frontend. I love documenting what I study on my blog, and I thought it’d be great to use GitHub Pages to share both my personal branding and everything I’ve been learning in one place.

I built velogit, a blog & branding platform based on GitHub Pages + Markdown + React. It fixes the pain points I felt on other platforms and adds sleek, highly customizable features so your personal taste can really show—something a little less drab than the usual developer communities and platforms.

I originally started building this just for myself, adding features here and there — but it turned out to be pretty useful, so I thought I’d share it. I’m not trying to sell anything or “promote an app.” I just want to recommend it to anyone who wants to polish their GitHub Pages site or write in a cleaner, more flexible environment. If you’re curious, please check the README on my GitHub for details. Thanks for reading!
