A few weeks ago, I launched a small project called LIBRE — an anonymous space where anyone can write and let go, with no login, no profiles, no metrics, and no expectations of response.
It was born from a simple idea:
What if there were a place to write without being watched, liked, tracked, or judged?
LIBRE is built to be:
- 🔒 Completely anonymous (no accounts, no tracking, no cookies)
- 🧘♂️ Emotionally neutral (no comments, likes, shares, or engagement loops)
- 🫧 Ephemeral and intentionless (you write, you let go — that’s it)
You can try it here if you’re curious:

The Dilemma
Now that it’s live… I’m facing a strange challenge:
How do I share a project that’s intentionally not meant to go viral?
How do I “promote” something that rejects the very logic of attention-seeking?
How do I invite people to use something that asks for nothing back?
Things I’m Trying (Gently)
- Sharing the backstory, not the "pitch"
- Focusing on why I built it, not why it’s “better” than anything else
- Avoiding growth-hacking, SEO tricks, and gamification
- Posting in communities where the values might resonate (writers, open web lovers, mental health spaces)
Why I’m Writing This Here
I'm not just here to share — I’m genuinely looking for insights:
Have you ever launched something that wasn’t meant to scale fast or generate noise?
How did you handle visibility without distorting the intent?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on:
- Ethical or value-aligned ways to grow
- Quiet or subtle forms of distribution
- How to build trust in anonymous spaces
Thanks for reading. 🙏
