A short build note on a design decision: why does my LinkedIn tool roast people instead of giving them a friendly checklist?
Because I watched the friendly version fail — on me. For years my profile said things like "collaborated cross-functionally with stakeholders," and every polite piece of advice I read amounted to "make it better." Nothing changed until feedback got specific enough to be a little uncomfortable.
So GrillMyProfile works like this: paste your profile text or upload the LinkedIn PDF export, and in about 30 seconds you get a roast and a score out of 100. No login, no email required, and the file is deleted when it's done. The roast names the exact lines that are costing you and why they scored what they scored.
If the score is low and you'd rather not do the rewriting yourself, there's a $19 Fix Pack — the same findings turned into a paste-ready rewrite. There's also a free military-transition draft page, because translating service into civilian language shouldn't cost someone who's leaving the military.
It's a small, independent tool, built in Minot, North Dakota by Luckey Bear Creations LLC. No growth claims here — it's live, it's free to try, and honest feedback is the whole product.
