How to Add Stickers to Your Tesla Wrap Directly in 3D

Placing stickers on a Tesla wrap used to be guesswork: you dropped them onto a flat 2D template, crossed your fingers, and hoped they landed somewhere sensible on the 3D car. Tesla Wrap Gallery (teslawrap.io) just shipped a better way — you can now add stickers directly on the 3D model. What you see is literally what you get on the touchscreen.

Here's how it works.

Step 1: Open the studio and pick your model

Head to teslawrap.io, open the studio, and choose your car — Model 3, Model Y or Cybertruck. Each has its own UV layout, so the 3D preview matches your actual vehicle.

Step 2: Switch to the 3D view

The studio has 2D and 3D modes. For sticker placement, stay in 3D — you'll place graphics on the car body itself, rotating the view to reach the hood, doors, roof and trunk.

Step 3: Choose your stickers

Three sources:

  • Built-in library — a large collection of sticker templates, from minimalist shapes to bold graphics
  • Import your own — upload your own PNGs and logos
  • AI-generate — describe a sticker in words and get one in a single click

Step 4: Place, resize, layer

Click a sticker and drop it straight onto the 3D car. Drag it across panels, resize it, rotate it, and stack layers — a big graphic on the hood, a small emblem on the fender. Because you're working on the 3D model, there's no mental translation from flat template to curved body. If it looks right here, it looks right on the car.

Step 5: Export with the checker

When the design is done, run the built-in export checker: it validates resolution (512–1024px), file size (under 1MB) and UV template/model match. Export your Paint Shop PNG, load it via the Tesla app or USB → Toybox → Paint Shop → Wraps, and your stickered design appears on the car's display.

Tips

  • Keep stickers on paintable areas — the studio masks out windows, lights and trim automatically
  • Watch total file size: lots of stickers can push you over the 1MB limit; the checker will warn you
  • Preview from every angle before exporting — the 3D view makes this trivial

Free to use, no account required. Also on iOS as Tes Wraps - AI 3D Design. Stop guessing where your stickers land — put them on the car itself.
