ByteMorph turns websites into short vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts: the desktop site plays in a laptop, the laptop morphs into a phone showing the mobile site, and the reel ends with your call to action.
Until now you recorded the site yourself and assembled the reel in the editor. Now you can describe it in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or Claude Code, and ByteMorph records the website and builds the reel for you.
Connect it
ByteMorph is an MCP server at https://bytemorph.app/mcp.
- Claude: add a custom connector with that address and choose Connect.
- ChatGPT: in developer mode, create a connector with that address and choose OAuth.
-
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http bytemorph https://bytemorph.app/mcp - Cursor and VS Code: add it to your MCP settings:
{ "mcpServers": { "bytemorph": { "url": "https://bytemorph.app/mcp" } } }
The first time, ByteMorph asks you to sign in and allow the app. Apps that take a token instead can use a personal access token from Settings → AI apps.
Describe the reel
Write it the way you'd brief an editor:
Use ByteMorph to record example.com.
Desktop: hold the hero 3 seconds, slow scroll to Pricing, then open the Contact page.
Phone: hero, open the menu, scroll to Testimonials.
Hook: A site that sells itself.
Captions: Clear pricing / Built for phones.
End card: Website by Your Studio, @yourstudio.
If something important is missing, like the hook or the end card, your AI app asks before recording anything.
The website records itself
You don't open a screen recorder. ByteMorph looks at the site first (its headings and where they are on the page, the navigation, the phone menu, colours and fonts), then records your shot list in a real browser:
- holds on the hero while animations keep playing,
- scrolls smoothly to the sections you named,
- moves a cursor to links and opens pages,
- opens and closes the phone menu,
- closes newsletter popups and cookie banners,
- brings a hidden header back before clicking it.
Desktop records at 1440 × 900 and phones at 2x. Recordings take a few minutes; your app checks on them and carries on when they're done.
It checks its own work
Once the reel is built, ByteMorph draws frames of it at the key moments (the hook, each scene and transition, zooms, the end card) so your AI app can see the result and fix anything off, like a hook covered by the laptop or leftover template text, before telling you it's ready.
Then it's yours
The result is a normal ByteMorph reel. Open it from your dashboard, change anything, and export it. Captions, feature lists, zooms, a 3D laptop reveal and your logo can all be asked for in the brief or changed by hand.
What it costs
Your AI app does the thinking, so messages cost nothing on ByteMorph. Each website recording uses 3 AI credits, refunded if it fails. Credits come with Pro and Agency.
Try it from Settings → AI apps at bytemorph.app.
