From Curiosity to Code: My Journey into Web Development

Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Madalina, and I’m beyond excited to join this awesome dev.to community! I wanted to take this chance to introduce myself, share a bit about my coding journey, and connect with fellow developers.

🌱 How It All Started
Like many developers, my journey into coding started with pure curiosity. I’ve always been drawn to how things work, and once I wrote my first few lines of Java, I was hooked! That "aha!" moment when I built something interactive felt like magic—except it wasn’t magic, it was logic, problem-solving, and creativity all combined.

💻 What I’ve Been Working On
Over time, I’ve built a variety of projects in JavaScript, each teaching me something new:

✨ Mapty App – A workout tracker that integrates geolocation and local storage to make logging workouts super easy.
💰 Banking App – A feature-rich app with transfers, loans, and transaction tracking, built with security in mind.
🎲 Games & Fun Apps – A number guessing game, a dice game, and other small projects that make learning fun!
🥗 Omnifood – A responsive food subscription website with a strong focus on mobile-first design.

🎯 What Drives Me
I love problem-solving, crafting clean and user-friendly interfaces, and making technology feel effortless for people. With experience in customer service, I understand the importance of a smooth, intuitive user experience—whether it's on a website, an app, or even a conversation!

🚀 The Road Ahead
Right now, I’m actively learning and sharpening my skills in React and TypeScript while also exploring best practices in UX/UI design and performance optimization. My goal? To build impactful, scalable applications and contribute to meaningful projects.
