Infinite “one more take” usually means the brief never capped revisions.
I write the rule in the brief before generate:
Revision rule: 1 round. Notes due in 48h. Only against signed fields (job, proof, do-nots). New must-includes = new quote.
What counts as a valid note: “Proof beat missing the timeline scrub.”
What doesn’t: “Make it punchier.”
I tell clients on the kickoff call so it isn’t a surprise after first assembly. Sounds harsh. Beats eight regenerations of lighting while the job stays fuzzy.
If the brief has no revision line, you’re volunteering unpaid scope.
