To address this visibility gap, the new CrowdStrike Shadow AI Visibility Service utilizes the Falcon platform to provide an accurate map of an organization's AI footprint. The service identifies risks associated with shadow AI, including desktop applications, browser extensions, and development frameworks, while monitoring user prompts and LLM responses for potential leaks of sensitive data or source code.
