Announcing md-to.com in French: The simplest way to convert Markdown!

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been working on md-to.com for a while now. It started as a simple project to solve my own headache: finding a fast, clean, and no-nonsense way to turn Markdown into beautiful PDFs, HTML, or Word docs without the "bloat."

Since then, the community support has been amazing. One thing I kept noticing in the logs and feedback was a growing number of users from French-speaking regions. So, I figured it was time to make them feel more at home.

Today, I’m stoked to announce that md-to.com/fr/ is officially live! 🇫🇷

Why use it?

If you’re like me, you live in Markdown, but the rest of the world... doesn't. Whether you need to send a clean report to a client or turn your README into a professional-looking PDF, this tool handles it in seconds.

  • Zero friction: No login, no "pro" tiers, just paste and convert.
  • Fully localized: The new French interface makes it easier for native speakers to navigate the settings and options.
  • Privacy first: Your content isn't being stored on some random server.

Behind the scenes

Adding i18n support was a fun little challenge. I wanted to make sure the transition was seamless without adding any heavy overhead to the site's performance. (If you’re curious about the tech stack or how I handled the localization, feel free to ask in the comments!)
