So it seems oneplus pad's latest update has made it so that the device cannot see certain 5G networks...
Scouring the internet, especially reddit, it seems like multiple users reported this but nobody has cared to fix it...
The fix is to lower the wifi channel on the router, I set mine to something like 36 and it detected the network.
Maybe it's some quirk, especially since Oneplus Oxygen OS is going to now become ColorOS soon, maybe they'll be putting all the efforts there.
Anyways, finally I can use this again...
