I didn't switch to linux because I was an expert devloper.
Actually, I was a beginner.
I switched because I want to understand my computer and my devlopment environment a little better.
Before trying to linux, I only knew it as an operating system Devlopers use.But linux is more than that.
1.What is linux?
Linux is "open-source operating system" that gives you lot of control over your computer.
Linux doesn't have just one version. there is many different ditributions, often called distros or more casually Linux flavors.
2.Which one I choose?
As a beginner, I didn't want to start with somthing too complicated
That's one of the resons I chose Linux Mint.It felt familer coming from windows, while still giving me a chance to explore the linux world.
