Applying artificial intelligence in software engineering - our status and the future?

I know everyone's time is precious so I’ll cut to the chase:
I am doing a PhD research related to the future of AI-based tools in software engineering.

But to do this, I need experiences of my fellow software engineers, QAs, POs and managers.
