Pinterest Marketing on Autopilot: How to Save Time With AI

Let’s talk about the new way to do Pinterest, because creators who are still stuck in the 2018 workflow are burning time and missing out.

If you want to grow traffic without working around the clock, you need to think in terms of systems and shortcuts.

That’s where AI tools come in.

In this article, I wanted to outline just some of the ways you can work smarter and not harder using AI, and by that, I don’t mean creating a mass of AI spam.

You want to use AI to speed up your SEO optimization efforts and research, so you can focus on what you do best, creating awesome
content.

How Smart Creators Stand Out on Pinterest

☑️ Automate the repetitive work
☑️ Repurpose smartly
☑️ Batch content faster with better tools

It’s not about being better at Pinterest, it’s about being more efficient.

Let me show you what that looks like in practice.

1. Identify Your Time Thieves

Where do you spend most of your time?

Is it creating titles & descriptions for your pins? Coming up with new ideas? Figuring out what to publish and when?

Identify the tasks that consume the most of your time, and record them. You can use a scoring system to identify those that take up more time than others, and also mark the ones you don’t like to do.

In my case, it looks something like this:

☑️ Writing SEO optimized titles & descriptions
☑️ Writing board descriptions for new boards
☑️ Coming up with text to put into my text overlays for pins
☑️ Creating multiple versions of pin designs in Canva
☑️ Tracking all the work done

2. Create a Workflow

Now, when you have a list of tasks, you want to create a workflow around it that you can follow easily.

For example, below is what my workflow looks like. I use a batching system that allows me to work on the same task for an extended period of time, which makes it easier for my brain to focus on the task in question.

A workflow is essential to ensure you don’t miss any important parts of the process, and all of the actions are performed in a timely manner.

My workflow:

☑️ Publish a new article
☑️ Create 50 SEO optimized pin titles & descriptions
☑️ Create 50 Canva designs with SEO optimized text
☑️ Add 10 seasonal variations for the same topic for Pinterest
☑️ Schedule using Tailwind
☑️ Update tracking sheet

3. Plug in AI Tools to Speed up Your Systems

Now let’s look at that workflow and see how we can optimize 90% of it using AI.

Here is what I do:

☑️ SEO optimized pin titles, pin descriptions, text overlays, and seasonal variations. I use custom-made ChatGPT tools that do all of this for me in a matter of minutes ( for me and my clients, which I share at the top of this article ). All I need to do then is copy them into my Tailwind or Canva file. This saves hours every week.

☑️ For my Canva creation, I either use the bulk create feature or simply multiply different templates I have until I get to 50 designs per article.

☑️ Then I simply take both inputs and put everything into Tailwind. You can also use other bulk scheduling tools to make the whole process even faster.
