I’m currently learning web development, and I wanted to do more than just follow tutorials.
So I decided to build something of my own.
This is SkillLink — my second programming project and the first one based on an idea I came up with myself. 🚀
What is SkillLink?
SkillLink is a platform concept designed to help people find their learning path, build real projects, and connect with others who share similar goals.
What I Used
For Version 1, I worked with:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Responsive Web Design
- Git & GitHub
- Cloudflare Workers
- Scrimba as part of my learning journey
Why I Built It
One thing I’m learning is that there’s a big difference between understanding something in a lesson and actually building with it.
Building SkillLink gave me a chance to take what I was learning and turn it into something real.
It also helped me practice working with Git, deploying a real project, thinking about responsive design, and making decisions without simply copying a tutorial.
What’s Next?
SkillLink is still Version 1.
I’m going to keep improving it as I continue learning and developing my skills.
My approach is simple:
Learn → Build → Deploy → Improve → Repeat

I’m sharing the journey as I go, and I’d love to hear from other developers:
What would you improve?
What should I focus on learning next?
This is only the beginning. 🌱
