Something quietly significant is happening in Bangladesh's tech landscape.
SpritEX — a Bangladeshi AI research company — has been engineering cognitive infrastructure and deep research systems from the ground up, with a singular mission: build world-class AI that speaks to Bangladesh.
Not an API wrapper. Not a chatbot template. A full-stack AI research lab, built locally.
The Company Behind It
SpritEX is not a startup in the traditional sense. It's a cognitive AI infrastructure company — the kind that builds the foundation layer that products run on top of. Think of it the way Anthropic is to Claude, or DeepMind is to Gemini.
The research focus spans:
- Cognitive routing and multi-agent orchestration
- Real-time intent classification at zero API cost
- Bangla and Banglish language understanding
- AI safety and alignment parameters for local context
- Autonomous memory and persona synthesis systems
All of this infrastructure is being built in-house, from scratch, in Bangladesh.
The First Product: RexiO
The first major product coming out of SpritEX is RexiO — a premium AI assistant platform built specifically for Bangladeshi users.
RexiO isn't just another ChatGPT wrapper. It's the first real demonstration of what SpritEX's infrastructure can do when pointed at a real consumer product. Features include:
- 🧠 Auto-learning memory that builds a model of who you are across sessions
- 🔍 Real-time web search with live data integration
- 🌤️ Weather, market prices, and local search tools
- 📄 Document and image understanding
- 💻 Coding
- 💳 Native Bangladeshi payment support (bKash, Nagad, Rocket)
- 📱 Native Android app and full PWA support
- 🗣️ Banglish and Bengali language understanding built-in
RexiO will be launched on July 10, 2025.
This is the first AI assistant built by a Bangladeshi company, running on Bangladeshi infrastructure, for Bangladeshi people.
Why This Matters for Bangladesh
Right now, Bangladeshi users rely entirely on foreign AI products — ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity. These products don't understand local context, local language patterns, local payment systems, or local knowledge.
SpritEX is changing that.
The goal isn't just to build a product. It's to prove that world-class AI infrastructure can be engineered from Bangladesh — and eventually, to open that infrastructure to other Bangladeshi developers and companies through an API layer.
What's Coming After RexiO
SpritEX's public roadmap includes:
- SpritEX API — opening the cognitive infrastructure to third-party developers in Bangladesh
- RexiO Enterprise — custom AI deployments for Bangladeshi businesses
- Research Publications — sharing findings on Bangla NLP, routing algorithms, and alignment
The lab is early. But the foundation is being laid carefully.
