Tutorial: Leverage the New Free Website Deployment Platform for Quick Profits

I previously published a tutorial about monetizing using a free image rendering API. Here is the link to the article. Many readers have messaged me for detailed steps.

While researching how to simplify the process, I discovered an even better way to monetize.

You only need to learn HTML and CSS, and you don't even need to know JavaScript. This method can also be learned by non-computer professionals and designers.

Core of Monetization

Core Component

The core component is the Pages service launched by the Edgeone platform yesterday. This service provides one-click static website deployment. The key is that it offers popular application templates.

This is a completely free service, and there are no plans to charge in the future. This ensures our profitability because when there are no expenses, all income is pure profit.

Monetization Model

The monetization model is based on the free plan and the rich set of built-in templates provided by the platform. The platform offers popular application templates and supports free deployment. These built-in templates are very diverse, including AI web pages, personal resumes, blogs, etc.

These templates are some of the most popular applications on the internet, which can effectively attract traffic. Once the traffic increases, monetizing becomes very simple, and our financial investment is zero.

In simple terms, we can use the applications provided by the platform, deploy the website to the public internet with one click, and make it accessible to users worldwide.

Due to the platform's excellent CDN and edge acceleration services, users from anywhere in the world can access the website smoothly.

Many people might wonder why the Edgeone platform is offering this free service. In reality, the traffic we generate by building our websites on the platform also contributes to the platform's overall traffic. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Specific Steps

1. Register an Account

First, register an account on the platform. You can directly use a Google account. No need to bind a credit card; just start using it. Here is the entry link. Click Get Started to begin.

2. Choose the Right Template

After entering the dashboard, bind your GitHub account, and you will see many templates. Choose a template related to the business needs you are most optimistic about.

If you are unsure which template can attract more traffic, you can directly create multiple static websites. They are all free and don’t require much effort.

One of my favorite templates is the chrome AI template. If there's something that's very likely to succeed now, AI is one of the hottest answers.

3. Custom Design

Although these templates are free, you can still customize the design to make your website stand out. You can modify colors, fonts, images, and layouts to better reflect your website's image.

This doesn’t require high skills. Even a beginner in front-end development can handle basic modifications. With simple HTML and CSS knowledge, you can easily adjust the templates.

You just need to run git clone to pull the template created on the website to your local machine. After modifying it locally, use git push to push it back to the repository. Once you push the modifications to the repository, the website will be automatically deployed, and the changes will take effect immediately.

4. Marketing the Website

At this point, some might consider applying for their own domain name. However, I think this is unnecessary at first. You can start by marketing your website and observing the market response.

If the traffic is good, you can then apply for a domain name through the platform.

You can attract traffic and convert it through content marketing, social media promotion, email marketing, and other strategies.

5. Additional Monetization Methods

Generating traffic and monetizing a website can be challenging, as marketing involves various strategies that many technical personnel might not be familiar with.

However, you can try finding simple static website requirements, such as museum exhibitions, photography exhibitions, or science popularization. These custom projects often only need one or two pages, and you can modify them using the templates provided by the platform. Once completed, the platform will automatically generate a website domain. You can then send the domain to the client.

This is just one monetization scenario. You can explore more profitable directions, and I believe this free platform should have more use cases.

In Conclusion

I hope this can really help everyone. If anyone has had successful experiences or new questions, I hope you can leave a comment under my article so I can share in your joy.
