For the last eleven days I have been running a public experiment: one person, $2,000, 100 days, no audience to speak of. The honest ledger so far was revenue $0, spend a little over a hundred dollars, and a graveyard of ideas that tested well in my head and nowhere else.
Today the ledger changes in one small way. There is a product live with a checkout that takes real money. It is called FacelessForge. You paste a topic or a link, and about ten minutes later you get a finished vertical video back — script, voice, visuals, burned-in captions, music, a cover frame — plus the title, caption and hashtags to post it with. It is built for story and facts channels, the kind of faceless series where episode 12 has to feel like episode 1 or the audience drifts off.
Two plans. Starter is $29 a month for 20 videos. Pro is $49 for 60, with priority rendering. The first video is free with a watermark, because I would rather you judge an actual output than a landing page. No trial clock. The free video is the trial.
Why this, why now: I kept building validation gates for ideas nobody had paid a cent for. A commenter on one of my earlier posts put it bluntly — interest is not demand, and I was measuring the wrong one very carefully. So the rule changed. Nothing gets another week of research until it has stood in front of a real checkout. FacelessForge is the first thing I own that can do that.
The kill rule is public too. If there is no first paid subscription by October 15, I shut this leg down and the next post is a postmortem with numbers. Not "pivoting." Not "exciting new direction." A postmortem.
