Simplifying Reel Quick's Navigation
As Reel Quick grows, its top navigation was becoming a directory of every feature in the product. That made the most important destinations harder to scan, especially for people new to the app.
Issue #15 simplifies the primary navigation to five application-level areas:
- Home
- Videos
- Create Video
- Post Wizard
- Settings
Feature-specific tools such as voice cloning, sound design, custom voices, and operational controls are still available through their relevant workflows and pages. They are simply no longer competing for space in the global header.
The update also adds route-aware active states, so users can immediately see which primary area they are working in. For example, video detail and editing routes keep Videos highlighted, while nested creation steps keep Create Video active.
This gives Reel Quick a cleaner, more scalable navigation model: new features can fit into existing workflows instead of automatically becoming another top-level menu item.
