Most advice says: pick one problem, build one SaaS, focus hard.
I decided to try something different.
Instead of betting everything on one big product, I’m building an AI lab — a collection of small, focused tools that solve real problems (hiring, tax, scam detection, testing, automation).
Why?
• Faster shipping
• Real user feedback per tool
• Less attachment to bad ideas
• Clear signals on what’s worth scaling
Some tools will evolve into standalone products.
Most will be killed quickly — by design.
So far, the hardest part isn’t building.
It’s deciding when to double down vs move on.
I’m sharing this to learn from others:
Have you tried something similar?
What helped you decide which product deserved full focus?
