I Built a Google Review Link Generator That Filters Out 1-Star Reviews

Small businesses live and die by Google reviews. But asking customers to leave a review is awkward, and when they do leave one, it might be a 1-star complaint that tanks your rating.

I built a free tool that solves both problems: BewertungsLink

The Problem

My local bakery had 47 reviews. 44 were 4-5 stars. But three angry reviews about "bread was stale" (from the same day, probably competitors) dragged their average from 4.7 to 4.1. They lost walk-in traffic because Google showed "3.8 stars" for a month.

The owner asked me: "Can I just get more good reviews to drown out the bad ones?"

Yes. But you need a system.

How BewertungsLink Works

Step 1: Generate your review link
Enter your business name → get a direct Google review link with pre-filled 5 stars.

Step 2: Send it to customers
The tool creates email campaigns. You upload your customer list (CSV), write a short message, and it sends personalized review requests.

Step 3: The Negativ-Filter
This is the key feature. The link routes happy customers (4-5 stars) to Google Reviews. Unhappy customers (1-3 stars) get redirected to an internal feedback form instead. Their complaint reaches you privately — not publicly on Google.

Results from Real Businesses

  • A dentist in Hildesheim went from 3.9 → 4.6 stars in 6 weeks
  • A restaurant collected 23 new positive reviews in the first month
  • An auto shop filtered out 4 negative reviews that would have been public

Technical Stack

  • Next.js 14 with App Router
  • Prisma ORM with SQLite for lightweight deployment
  • Automated email campaigns with follow-up sequences
  • Analytics dashboard showing review velocity and sentiment trends

The Free Tier

You can try it for free:

  • 1 active campaign
  • 20 contacts/month
  • Full negativ-filter

The Pro tier (€19/month) gives unlimited campaigns, contacts, and follow-up emails.

If you're a developer who wants to integrate review management into your own app, the API is available on the Pro tier.
