Establish what's important to you. Flexibility? Stability? Or salary? Remote work or a job that requires you to be in the office? Be clear on what you want and what are your red lines.
Reconnect with old friends and colleagues. Ask them what they have been up to, their current role and if they have any helpful career advice.
If you're already out of a job then take this time to learn new skills. Research free and affordable online courses and programs as they could open doors for you.
Be open to local and national job markets. If you're able to be flexible then it might be worth checking industries that you're not in if vacancies are available.
