👋 I'm Starting My Dev Journey
Hey everyone!
I'm new to coding and just started learning seriously. I'm writing this to track my journey and maybe help someone else who's also starting out.
🖥️ My Setup
I'm using:
- Fedora Linux as my OS (I like how clean and fast it feels)
- VS Code for editing
- Fira Code Retina for font (I like how smooth it looks)
- Planning to learn JavaScript first, then move into full-stack (Node.js, MongoDB, etc.)
📚 What I'm Learning
Right now, I'm focusing on:
- Getting better at JavaScript
- Learning Markdown (what I'm using to write this post!)
- Exploring Dev.to and reading blogs from other developers
⚡ Goals This Month
- Learn basic JavaScript concepts: variables, loops, functions
- Solve beginner coding problems on LeetCode
- Write 1 post every week here on Dev.to (even if it’s short)
- Understand Git and GitHub basics
🤔 Why I'm Doing This
I always felt like there’s more to tech than just using apps — I want to build things, understand how things work, and maybe one day make something useful.
