Exclude iTerm from Dock and App Switcher

  1. Open iTerm2.
  2. Navigate to iTerm2 > Preferences > Appearance.
  3. Check theExclude from Dock and ⌘-Tab Application Switcher option.

Configure iTerm2 Profile

  1. Go to Profiles in the preferences.
  2. Select the profile you want to edit.
  3. Under the Window tab, set the following:
    • Screen: Screen with Cursor
    • Space: All Spaces
  4. Adjust any other settings to suit your preferences.

  • Go to the Keys section in preferences.
  • Click on the Configure Hotkey Window button.

  • Set a hotkey to toggle the visibility of the window.
  • Ensure the Floating window option is selected.
