MiddleMen: An AI Firm

MiddleMen is a non-profit organisation that is a part of WeDidIt foundation, which is an NGO; both of them were founded by the same person, Sree Krishna Seelam. Whereas WeDidIt focuses on developing, or rather invoking, a sense of humanity in humans, MiddleMen works on delivering justice.

The noticeable factor about the latter is that it makes judicious use of AI for the good of the greater population. The world has become highly material, and it continues to do so with every passing second. In the midst of this hungry greed, MiddleMen is a hero by making its legal services and assistance affordable.

It’s a completely online firm. Different types of AIs are involved in the working efficiency of the platform—for instance:

  • Lexum: To find one’s legal data
  • AI Lawyer: A legal assistant
  • Ferret.ai: Research companion
  • DoNotPay: AI consumer champion

They make full use of the digital platform to ensure customer satisfaction. Its salient features are:

  • Case Tracking: Clients can monitor their case status with the interactive dashboard, and this also ensures complete transparency.
  • Lawyer Matchmaking: The clients are matched with relevant lawyers, as per the requirement of the case and specialisation of the lawyer.
  • Affordable Fees: A nominal fee of Rs. 500 for both the client and the lawyer.

Justice is not equal if only the rich can buy their way to justice. Justice is only equal if even the poorest of the poor get their cases solved with as much importance.
