It's our pleasure to announce that OpenSign v1.7.3 is now available! The current release features the introduction of significant new functions, as well as a variety of refinements made to pre-existing features.
The key enhancements in this version are as follows:
1) Download Button for Signers
In accordance with clients' business requirements and needs, we now provide signers with a way to download the document. This allows any person signing the document to save it and review it in their own time or even send it to their legal counsel before signing. This ensures that signers thoroughly understand the contents before affixing their e-signature.
2) Option to copy API token
We have made the API token on the OpenSign platform more accessible by adding a copy button next to it. This simple feature allows users to easily copy their API tokens, which can help reduce errors and save time when integrating with other systems or applications.
3) Improved Login Box Design
We've relocated the 'Forgot Password' button to the login box interior; it now provides for a much cleaner and friendlier interface. This design change aims to enhance the overall appearance of the login page and make it easier for users to reset their passwords.
4) Resend Mail Functionality for in-progress Documents
Timely processing of documents is important and sometimes, it is necessary to send a document again. We have added a way to do that and it is now possible to resend email messages for in-progress documents. This feature ensures that all recipients receive necessary reminders, helping to keep your document workflows on track. Now you can put the necessary reminders right into their inboxes.
5) Celebration Confetti on Document Completion
To make completing documents more fun, we have added celebration confetti. Now, when you finish a document, you'll be greeted with a burst of confetti, adding a touch of celebration to your accomplishments.
6) Delete Folder API
Managing folders in OpenSign drive is easy—at least, using the delete folder API is. This allows the user to delete folders through OpenSign API, providing more flexibility and control over document organization.
7) Customizable Email Resend for Signature Requests
Now, you can personalize resend emails. If someone doesn't take action after your first email, you can send them a custom follow-up email. Remind them, prod them and ask them to tell you why they haven't signed your document. And the best part? You can set this "reminder email" to go out without you having to lift a finger.
8) Automatic Reminders for Users
To help keep your document workflows on schedule, users can now send automatic reminders. This feature automates the reminder process, ensuring that all parties are prompted to take action without manual intervention.
9) Tour Messages in Request Signatures Flow
In order to make the user experience better and to assist new users through the request signature flow, we've put in place tour messages. They aid the user directly, with messages that give tips, for instance or instructions. Anything that better directs the user is included; they do a good job of making the process, easy to understand. You click and read; then perform the task.
