A lot of small shops in India still write prices by hand or order printed stickers in bulk. A pocket Bluetooth label printer lets you print exactly what you need, when you need it, straight from your phone.
What you can print
- Price tags and MRP stickers for shelves
- Barcodes for billing software and stock counts
- Batch, date and ingredient labels for home brands (pickles, spices, candles, soaps)
- Address and order stickers for small parcels
How the setup works
- Charge the printer and load a 58 mm thermal roll.
- Pair it with your phone over Bluetooth.
- Open the label app, type your text or scan a barcode, and print.
There is no computer, cable or driver to install, which is why it suits a busy counter or a market stall.
Tips that save paper and time
- Make a template for each product, so staff only change the price.
- Keep barcode height reasonable, very short bars are harder to scan.
- Store spare rolls away from heat and sunlight, as thermal paper darkens with heat.
Know the limits
A 58 mm pocket printer is made for small labels and stickers. If you mainly print 4x6 inch courier labels, you need a wider shipping label printer.
We supply a Bluetooth 5.0 model that ships with ten rolls. Details and price: PackForge thermal label printer
