Search for offers on the position you are about to apply, extract the MIN and MAX and that's all. If you're not too good on this because you are a beginner don't expect to be paid something near MAX, but if you are a senior don't agree with something near MIN.
Also take in mind the city, you can't search for min and max values on a 4 million people city and expect the same amount on a 200 thousand one (usually the salaries are higher on bigger cities due to a more expensive life cost and less comfort as you will probably need to eat at job or on a near restaurant, also need longer travels to work and from work to home while on a little city or town you must be able to do this travel in less than 20 minutes and even have lunch at home depending on your timings).
Depending on the country there are differences between states too.
